Upstairs

Children upstairs are between the ages of 3 to 4 ½. We have access to a computer, story books, creative activities, dressing up, a home corner and a building area among other things. The children are always very busy and we do lots of activities that will give the children a solid foundation when transitioning into school.

We plan according to the Early Years’ Foundation Stage and encourage children to reach their own personal “next steps” or achievements. Everything your child accomplishes is recorded in their very own development file.

Downstairs

Children downstairs are between the ages of 2 and 3. We believe in learning through play and encourage as much social interaction as much as possible whilst ensuring a balance between adult-led activities and child-led play.

Children downstairs also have a development file where their progress is tracked and recorded. In order to achieve their next steps, children have access to the same areas as upstairs with age appropriate adjustment.
